Tenyo Noda (ramen)

Tenyo Noda served us the best ramen soups we had in our entire time in Japan. And they were really inexpensive!


We ordered two different varieties of their ramen soups and both were exceptionally delicious. The pork was so tender. The broths were flavorful. We also ordered a pork with sprouts and kimchi dish that was also delicious.

The staff did not speak much English, but enough to accommodate English speakers. And they had an English menu.

I think they only take cash. So be sure to have yen on you.

Yes, we did eat at one of the shops of the famous Ippudo Ramen chain in Tokyo. But the lesser-known Tenyo Noda's ramen soups blew Ippudo Ramen's away. Not even close.
